Strategic staffing and understanding organizational behaviors
The Organizational Behaviour and Interpersonal Influence Lab is a research team at the University of Calgary led by Dr. Joshua Bourdage. We conduct research and collaborate with organizations to enhance both organizational productivity and outcomes for employees. Our work focuses on a few key areas:
(a) Strategic staffing - with a focus on maximizing the effectiveness of job interviews and the assessment of personality
(b) Organizational behavior - with a focus on the role of organizational politics, and the processes through which individuals influence one another
(c) Leadership - with a focus on ethical leadership and the individual differences that drive leadership.
Our mission is to conduct high caliber research that can inform organizational practices to improve employee selection, workplace culture, and leadership.
